MyAlice: Don't Mess with the Queen of the Night

People's inability to think critically constantly amazes me.

Take, for example, the situation with Michael Moon and MyAlice, the dimwitted daughter of a man who consistently tortured Michael from the time he was a child.

This is not a mutual attraction.

People are forgetting that Michael Moon is a manipulator of vulnerable people. He's done this to Katshit, he's done it to Jean and now he's doing it to MyAlice.

Bluntly put, he knows how naive and stupid she is, and he's preying on her good nature, encouraging her to wear Janine's clothing, giving her pretty little compliments, feeding her ego, before shitting all over her in the end.

The best that could happen is that he takes her virginity and then leaves her cold, after months of not paying her wages (because he's skint). The worst that could happen is when the Queen of the Night, herself, returns next month to find this Branning lass attached at the hip to her husband and taking care of her baby.

Expect to see Michael Moon stand by passively as Janine bitch-slaps MyAlice all around the Square. His only retort to Alice would be to raise his eyebrows and remind her that he is a married man.

  1. My thoughts exactly.

It amazes me that folks on DS are musing about some 'spark' or 'special attraction' between Michael and Alice. Yeah - just like the 'attraction' of a spider for a fly.

Michael loves mind games and gets off on causing others mental anguish, and will hugely enjoy destroying Alice. It is revenge not only on Derek, but also on Joey for that punch.

    1. Michael only always punches down when people are at their most vulnerable - Kat when Alfie got taken to prison and then again, when he asked her for the divorce; Jean, whose vulnerability is obvious (he was bloody cruel to her, reporting Stacey as dead). His own wife, when she was hormonal and doubly stressed from a difficult pregnancy and a sick baby. Alice is naive and trusting. He will stitch her up like a kipper.

    2. Let us just hope he doesn't get her pregnant.

Alice isn't the sharpest tool in the box and might be persuaded out of insisting on condoms if Michael says they are uncomfortable and would spoil her first experience.

Michael is one sick individual who genuinely seems to derive pleasure from the suffering of others. I'd like to see Janine come back and kick him out of HER house, right onto his skinny arse.

  2. Alice lost her virginity to Anthony.

    1. You are wrong. She did not. She went on two dates with Anthony - one where he acted like an oaf and the last one before he was run out of town by Derek and Joey. Alice is the last of the red hot virgins.

  3. How can you be sure this time it's not different? I know that Michael is manipulative and all that, but he did already mess Alice about with the dodgy money he gave her. Maybe, in time, Alice's good nature will wear him down in a way Jean's didn't. Maybe a leopard can change its spots. Or maybe the 'attraction' will come to naught...

Who knows. I guess we'll see.

    1. Because the actor describes the character as a psychopath, although he's showing more sociopathic tendencies. As is, he cares nothing about anyone but himself and promoting himself. The closest thing to an honest statement he ever made was telling Kat he didn't love Janine or the baby, and I don't think he does. He's a sponger who won't hit a lick of a day's honest work. He's a con man. He let up a little after initially scamming Jean, to allow her to build on her trust for him. He's doing the same for Alice.

Janine is coming back. Janine is a long-term character and an A-Lister. Characters like Michael Moon have short shelf lives (think Archie Mitchell) or else they turn into cartoons (Nick Cotton). Moon will be toast by the end of the year.
