Since I feel like a bit of a swearfest and since it offends the ladyboy who longs to be Katshit Slutter in his dreams, let me say this in response to this thread on John Swallow's He-Man Woman-Haters' Club (Unless You're a Soap Bitch) and BullyBoi Emporium.
Everyone in Walford knows "what Janine is like?" Really? Then everyone in Walford is walking around with massive assholes due to the fact that their heads have been lodged inside them for so long?
I wonder how long Wanker Slutterfuck has been watching Janine in EastEnders and if he's aware of her emotional and psychological issues. Like most people in Walford, she has massive daddy issues. She also has abandonment issues and a big problem with trust, especially since most people she should have been able to trust have massively let her down in the past.
As a child, she was passed from pillar to post, by Frank and her eldest sister. The result was that she felt she was never more than a peripheral part of a family unit, so there was a sense of not belonging. Frank regularly abandoned her - as a small child, as a pre-teen and as a girl of 16, when he left Peggy, who promptly kicked Janine onto the street.
Leading up to Scarlett's birth, Janine had had to endure the ultimate betrayal by her new husband within weeks of marrying him, when Ryan Molloy wantonly began an affair with Stacey Slater, who was egged onto this by Kat, who convinced her she was entitled to Ryan more than Janine because she'd conceived a child by him in a one-night stand. Talk about an erosion of trust!
Janine had also lost her grandmother, with whom she had closely bonded, and then she lost Pat, shortly followed by Ricky's exile. She was always wary of her own involvement with Michael, basically because when she chatted him up as someone on her uppers, he blew her back. He didn't want to know her until she became an heiress. She voiced as much to Pat on her deathbed, saying she was pregnant by a man she didn't trust.
Pat told her to have the baby; she said nothing about the man.
Willie Slutter-Wanker wants to research psychopathy, especially as the actor who portrays Michael Moon describes him as an "active psychopath." Archie Mitchell was also psychopathic, and Ben.
Psychopaths are incapable of loving or bonding. They're manipulative and can appear very charming, but they are also adept at preying upon their victims' vulnerabilites. The only reason SlutterWanker is giving Michael the victim status is because of SlutterWanker's idolisation of the Matron Saint of Sluts, Katshit, who's pretty stupid in her loyalty to Michael.
Firstly, her loyalty has nothing to do with liking this skinny-arsed cadaverous piece of shit and everything to do with getting money out of him for a sprog who's ultimately going to be proven to be Alfie's biological son and everything to do with getting back at Janine out of pure hatred.
Secondly, people like Katshit, and also Alfie, Roxy and Jean, are forgetting just what a nasty piece of work Michael is.
He suffers from many of the same issues that Janine has, including losing his mother (like Janine) tragically when he was young. The difference is that Janine has manifested her major issues (daddy) into scamming solvent older men of their money, whilst Michael has made it a mission to punch down on women who are emotionally fragile and vulnerable as a means of getting back at Mummy.

- Roxy, when she was at her loneliest in early 2011.
- Ronnie, when she was harbouring Tommy Moon as James and on tenterhooks.
- Jean, who suffers from a bi-polar condition, and is thick as pigshit. He scammed thousands of pounds from her and even manipulated her into embezzling from her employer who was also family. Because of him, Jean could have gone to prison.
- MyAlice, who's naive and thick.
As for Michael "bonding" with his child, he hasn't. Before Christmas, Roxy did most of the childcare, after being conned into moving in with him to look after the baby. After Christmas, Scarlett's been cared for by Alice. Just because Michael flits back and forth and gives her the occasional kiss doesn't mean he's Father of the Year, and the fact that Kat, Roxy and Jean were all victims of Michael's meanest manipulations and still look at Janine as though she belongs in the gutter just emphasizes their own brand of hypocrisy and stupidity. Kat and Roxy, especially, are vile in this respect. Neither are great mothers, and both of them have had their children removed from their care at some point in their lives, and they're not above conspiring with someone who's hurt them immensely just to spite Janine.
The truth is that Michael, like Archie Mitchell, is a control freak. What attracted him to Janine was her money, and he took advantage of her when she was hormonal, physically exhausted from caring for a sick child 24/7 and suffering from PND, to wantonly chip away at her confidence and self-esteem in an effort to keep her isolated so he could rampage through her fortune. What he did with Janine was tantamount to psychological and emotional bullying, which might account for why Willie Wanker Sluttermongerer loves Saint Kat and Michael so much, considering he's a budding passive-aggressive bullyboi, himself.
So the commentator who alleged that Kat should just fuck off from interfering in this custody case which has nothing to do with her is right. She's doing it from sheer hatred of Janine, and I hope she gets her skank, STI-ridden arse handed back to her royally, just like Willie Wanker Slutter-Monger.
I agree entirely regarding your assessment of both Janine and Michael. It never ceases to amaze me that some can't see this for what it is.
