You're all taking a snippet of script from October and reckoning that TPTB have made Alfie the doormat in this Shagger storyline yet again..
People ... first of all, Alfie is playing Kat. Tony Jordan, who created him, always said Alfie had a dark side. This affair will sting him deep. He will find out the Shagger - oh, and it's Derek; all the mentioning of Michael and Janine leaving will have nothing to do with this storyline. Think who hasn't been mentioned.
And he will keep the fact that he knows from Kat.
Shane Richie has said that Alfie and Kat feature heavily in a Christmas story. We're talking Sharongate, we're talking Patgate; we're talking Den serving Ange divorce papers. And remember, Christmas Day is Alfie and Kat's anniversary.
Maybe he tricks her into a renewal of vows but instead serves her her divorce papers and kicks her skank ass out.
Watch this space ... remember all is not what it seems. Learn to THINK.
Also ... revenge is a dish which is best eaten cold.

ReplyDeleteI know this blogger is vilified on DS, but actually they talk an awful lot of sense and I agree with many of the interpretations they put on things - even if they don't do it in a very nice way. DS is full of people who judge books by covers, don't employ logic, don't realise this is 'fiction', not 'real life' and generally take the whole soap thing far too seriously. I am too cynical to do that, and I get a lot of amusement from reading comments from people who, frankly, are making twits of themselves every time they go near a keyboard (monalisa is one of them for her Phil/Shirley obsession, catsmeow is another with her "I'm perfect, and I have the right to criticise any woman who doesn't live up to my high standards, even when they're fictional people in soaps"). It's laughable, truly!
